Last Regular Report for 2020

As we finish out what will be a history-making year and gratefully transition into a more hopeful one, our team is taking the opportunity of the holidays to pause, reflect and rest.  Our offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period from December 19 to January 3 (inclusive).  There will be no service disruption to active cases and team members will provide coverage throughout for client needs.

This report will be paused, however, we will continue to monitor any changes that may impact global mobility.   Minor updates will be posted to our blog: https://www.relonetworkasia.com/blog/covid-19-ongoing-report/ and shared on social media.  In the case of a critical change before the next regular report due on January 7th, we will also send an email summary to this distribution list.

We anticipate the rate of change will remain slow  at least through the remainder of 2020.  Hong Kong did revise quarantine requirements, mandating quarantine at specific hotels only and adding a third testing requirement to take place 5 days following the completion of quarantine.  Myanmar has extended the international flight ban through 31 December.  Singapore has announced a new travel lane for business officials and high economic value travelers.  Participants have quarantine eliminated for short-term stays, but must remain at a dedicated “bubble” facility , undergo testing upon arrival and on days three, five seven and 11.  Other restrictions apply and applications begin next month.

On behalf of the entire team at Relo Network Asia, we wish you all health and happiness in 2021.
