  Steve Burson hails from Christchurch, New Zealand where be spent the first 20 years of his life, including graduating from Canterbury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and Economics. The last 20 years have been spent in the relocation industry.

  From an early age, Steve was intrigued by Japan and the Japanese language. His interest took him on two exchange programs before he finally relocated there himself. He began working in a small city in the south of Nagoya as a Coordinator for International Relocations for a government-sponsored initiative called the JET Program. After leaving this post, Steve tried his hand in translation and interpretation before realizing that working with people was what he really enjoyed doing most.

  The job that started Steve's relocation career was with a moving company in Yokohama, which opened his eyes to the mobility industry. In 2003 Steve joined the H&R Group, which is the holding company of both Relo Japan and Relo Network Asia.

  Steve held a number of roles at the H&R Group, finally leading the Japan business he had grown with other senior members. The H&R Group acquired what is now the Relo Network Asia group of companies in July 2016 and in December of that year, Steve assumed the managing director role in Singapore. Steve is married to a Japanese national and has two daughters, aged 16 and 8. He currently is resident in Singapore and travels back to Japan often.

  Adeline's personal experience began 20 years ago when she was relocated to Seoul, Korea as a trailing spouse. She faced some common challenges of an assignee, and this ultimately fostered her determination to pursue the trade to support other assignees in the same endeavor. With her prior experience as a property consultant in Singapore and eventually a licensed real estate agency holder, incorporated with the expertise acquired in relocation arena, Adeline is in an excellent position to advise the pros and cons of each task undertaken.

  In 2001, Adeline relocated to Beijing – another eye-opening experience. Adeline took up a role as relocation consultant in Beijing with a Orientations. In 2005, Adeline moved back to Singapore and continued her expertise in the Singapore office. The expatriate's journey continued for her, in 2007, she was relocated to Manila and continued to learn and explore the relocation in a different country. In 2008, Adeline returned on a second assignment to Beijing with her family for nine years before they returned to Singapore for good. Adeline's personal experiences acquired in various Asian countries allow her to have a macro view of the industry and excellent insight to advise the Do's and Don't's for Assignees in a foreign land.

  As a founding member of Orientations in Asia, Adeline continued her passion even when the Company was acquired by H&R Group. An Advisor in the new set up, an educator to our new generation of expertise, to continue the contribution and services in the relocation industry, and to take Relo Network Asia forward into the future.

  President

  Sharon has over 20 years of experience in the Global Mobility industry. For 15 of those years, she ran the Global Services Division of a major real estate company in New York City and then she switched focus to global destination services. Sharon's industry background includes roles as a corporate relocation account manager, award-winning marketer, and a global brand ambassador, cultivating relationships, and a solid understanding of the complexity faced by cross-border transfers.

  She has been an active participant on planning committees and boards in several international real estate and relocation industry associations and is a regular speaker on country-specific topics for all 17 countries in Asia and general topics like Building a Global Mindset and the Asian Century.

  Sharon's current role as President of Relo Network Asia brings together all her passions of cross-border mobility, continuous learning and working within a culture of compassion and teamwork to make successful moves happen across the Asia Pacific region.

  She is an ENTJ-A, and her top 5 strengths are: Achiever, Command, Futuristic, Input and Strategic.

  Having specialised in DSP services for over 10 years, Claudine is committed to creating a seamless relocation experience for her assignees.

  On a personal level, Claudine has spent an impressive 12 years overseas, living in countries spanning across three continents, thereby placing her in an optimal position to empathise and anticipate the needs of her own clients.

  On a professional level, Claudine draws from her hotel management background as well as her relocation consultancy experience to curate a customised service-oriented programme for each client. As a Singaporean herself, Claudine has an excellent grasp of the local and international housing climate and education systems.

  Danielle Goldman

  Immigration Services Manager

  Danielle is originally from South Africa and has traveled extensively as both an accompanying spouse, an expat, and a business owner. Over the past 20 years, she has called countries throughout the Middle East, Europe, Australia, and Asian home. She has a degree in Public Relations from Johannesburg University.

  In 2006, Danielle relocated to Hong Kong, where her career spanned business owner, cultural trainer, and marketing for several international relocation companies. While in Hong Kong, Danielle joined the then-named Orientations as a relocation consultant.

  Her dedication and knowledge led her into management and managed the Hong Kong office. In her current role, Danielle currently applies her valuable knowledge and experiences across Asia by managing the Visa and Immigration program for Relo Network Asia.

  Danielle currently lives in Cape Town with her Hong Kong dog, Gizzy and her two cats.
