There were two of our destinations in Asia to make the top 20 list of the INRIX 2025 Global Traffic Score.

Scorecard

The only city in the top 10 was Jakarta, Indonesia.  coming in 9th place just beating Los Angeles.  Our only other location to enter the top 20 was Bangkok, Thailand which took 13th place. Residents lost an average of 83 hours and 76 hours respectively on traffic-related delays.

For comparison, those living in London, Paris, New York and Mexico City all spent more time in traffic last year.

Why does traffic matter?  For assignees and their families, congestion can mean hours spent stuck in traffic.  Our local experts take traffic into consideration when helping expatriates find somewhere to live.  Proximity to and transportation available between the home, school and office in high-traffic locations are critical considerations.
