Last week, we participated in Worldwide ERC’s Summit in Tokyo.  It was  great event that was well attended by the country’s corporations.

Our team members Steve Burson, CEO and Daniel Wallin both attended the event along with members of our sister-company, Relo Japan.

The one-day event drew corporate HR mobility professionals from Japan and the Asia region.  Also joining the event were the service partner companies that supply support to relocating personnel.  There were plentiful education sessions and idea-sharing between the attendees who met at the Tokyo American Club.

Relo Network Asia CEO Steve Burson presented the closing session, “Going Global; The Road Ahead” together with the Director, Global Business Development of the Relo Group, Inc., Mr Yasuji Shimizu.

Earlier this year, Relo Group, Inc. purchased the relocation management company BGRS.  The Relo Group name, which is well-known especially in their headquarter country of Japan and is similar to our sister company, Relo Japan, caused some confusion outside of Asia.

During the session, the two mobility industry leaders shared their thoughts on what is coming next for the globalization of Japan.
