We are updating you on our current service provision as of March 12, 2020.  The report was compiled in Asia and was completed prior to the announcement of the European travel ban in the US and the restrictions just placed on travel to/from Metro Manila.  Our team continues to keep our focus on local activities and actions, meeting regularly to discuss changes.  The Relo Network Asia Relo Specialists are working in close partnership with our client’s relocation teams to coordinate service delivery that may be impacted by quarantine, or delays in arrival.

Review this document for a breakdown of services and school closures by country. However, in summary, except for China, we are still operational to perform face-to-face service delivery under our previously provided policies.

As the number and volume of Covid-19 cases rise, we can anticipate the following activities to come and go based upon the transmission:

• Travel restrictions in between countries including bans or mandatory quarantines
• Travel restrictions into and out of so-called “outbreak” areas
• Suspension of visa exemption programs
• Suspension of work permit applications
• School closures or transfer of education sessions to an online format

We will continue to share information with you, and our team will ensure assignees are supported throughout this global pandemic.

While the future remains unclear and we all do our part to help slow and stop the spread of this virus, we would like to share a report from McKinsey and Company regarding the range of possible outcomes of this global pandemic.  A most telling image presents how Covid-19 is progressing so far, although where it goes from here will be impacted by government and personal actions.
