More Extensions of Existing Measures.
Several countries continued or extended already-existing measures as a defense from cases either within our outside their borders.
In some locations, further restrictions were strengthened such as in Metro-Manila and other regions of the Philippines, Myanmar and Malaysia. Traditional face-to-face destination services continue to be the norm, however in-person service delivery is either suspended or difficult in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and the Philippines.
Taiwan has added South Korea to the medium-risk list, enabling some essential short-term business travel. Heartfelt congratulations to Melbourne for emerging from 111 days of coronavirus lockdown and also to Taiwan which marks 200 days without a domestic COVID-19 infection.
