Despite the grim milestone reached globally for new cases this week, Asia continues to operate within the ever-changing parameters dictated by the pandemic.  We remain operational for service delivery with severe challenges only in three countries: India, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Australia this week implemented new domestic travel and quarantine requirements for travel between domestic states.  Non-citizens remain banned from arriving in the country.  Macau tightened testing requirements and implemented quarantine for travelers from or with recent visits to Hong Kong while the Philippines has been added to the “high-risk” lists for several countries.

Due to recent outbreaks, Japan has declared states of emergency in several prefectures and Hong Kong has tightened restrictions on residents.  In Hong Kong, the reduction of people who can meet in public to only 2 has meant some adjustment to home finding services to include now only the assignee and realtor.
