Infection rates in most locations continue to go the wrong direction.
Many countries have again extended or enhanced local restrictions including: Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and South Korea. Arrivals from Indonesia, which is now the epicenter of the covid pandemic are being banned in several countries.
While restrictions are back in place, the race to vaccinate populations continues.
