The Golden Horse Awards were presented on 11/17/18 in Taiwan, recognizing the best of the best in Chinese language films. Known as the “Chinese Oscars” the night is comparable in prestige and glamour.
First held in 1962, entrants are welcomed from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China as well as other Chinese speaking locations.
Winning for Best Feature Film is “An Elephant Sitting Still”, Best Documentary “Our Youth in Taiwan” and Best Director “Zhang Yimou” the director of Best Feature Film nomination “Shadow.”
