A Modern Country with Seven Kings
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is made up of seven different emirates, each with their own king. Each emirate maintains control over its own area, especially when it comes to oil, one of its most important natural resources. Dubai is the most common gateway for travelers to the UAE, and Abu Dhabi is the capital.
The housing market varies mostly due to the differences between the seven emirates. The majority of homes in the UAE are new or under 20 years old. In the city center, you'll mostly find apartments, and villas on on outer edges of the cities.
